The main idea for the set was to create a clean and elegant environment that blends naturally into the surrounding mountains and Vancouver Harbour. Wavy wood panels highlighted the natural woods and rolling landscape of the region.

Due to its public appeal, the set was later moved to the CTV local News Studio in Vancouver as their permanent evening news set. All sets were designed in association with Jack Morton/PDG and built by BlackWalnut.
